ISCA BBS Client: Capturing
You can capture text from ISCABBS to save for later use on your comptuer or to import into your own post. To turn capturing on or off, press your command key followed by your capture key. Any text you view while capturing is turned on will be saved to your edit file.
The edit file is stored on Unix and Mac OS X systems as .bbstmp in your home directory. This is a hidden file, use ls -al to see it. On Windows systems, the edit file is stored as bbstmp.txt in your user profile, or in C:\ if you don't use multi-user capability on Windows 9x.
Once you have captured some text, you may copy or download the edit file for later reference. Or do nothing, and the contents of the edit file will be imported into the next post you make.
